How Bowling Rivals handles player information on iPhone, iPad, Android and the website.

Practice saves
Guest practice progress, including your player name, balances, equipment, training and match history, stays on the device and separate from each connected account. When signed in, a private practice snapshot backs up your practice history and preferences to that account when connected. The Profile screen shows backup status. Unfinished practice matches remain on the device.
Account training and equipment
Connected accounts keep earned diamonds, skill levels, coin balances, equipment ownership and ball core choices on the game server. Devices cache this information for practice, but purchases and training upgrades require server confirmation before they take effect. Signing in with the same account shares those records between iPhone, iPad, Android and the website. A private practice backup cannot grant account diamonds, training levels or owned equipment.
Connected features
You can connect through Facebook, Snapchat or a phone verification code. We receive the provider identity and the profile details you authorize it to share, which can include a display name and profile-picture link. Phone verification uses Firebase; Google processes the number for sign-in and spam and abuse prevention. Your phone number is private and is not shown to other players. Bowling Rivals does not receive your Facebook or Snapchat password. The app stores its game session securely on your phone; browser sessions use browser storage.
Connecting a guest identity preserves its server record. When that same identity becomes a connected account, a private copy of its practice history and player name can also move into its account backup. Device-only coins, diamonds, skills and equipment cannot grant server ownership. Connecting another sign-in method while already signed in adds a way to return to the same account; separate existing accounts are not automatically merged.
Online features store a player profile, friend connections, messages, match states, competition entries, awards and alliance membership on the connected game server. Other players can see your public player name, friend handle, competition results and alliance details. Direct messages are available to their participants; alliance chat is available to alliance members.
Sign-in provider privacy
Snapchat’s Privacy Policy also applies when you use Snapchat sign-in. We request your Snapchat identity and display name; optional Bitmoji and email access are not requested. Facebook sign-in requests your public profile, without an email permission. Providers manage their own accounts and consent controls.
Apple sign-in
On iPhone and iPad, you can save your player with Sign in with Apple. Apple provides a private account identifier and the email address you choose to share, which may be an Apple relay address. Your public bowling name is separate. The app never receives your Apple password. A one-use authorization code goes to our server; the server encrypts the Apple authorization token so it can revoke the connection when you delete your account. The private signing key and Apple authorization tokens never return to the app. Deleting an Apple-connected account may ask you to verify your Apple sign-in first.
Challenge notifications
When you enable phone notifications, we save a private device notification address with your account. Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android and Apple Push Notification service on iOS deliver match invitations and responses. Notifications can include player names on your lock screen. You can turn push alerts off in Challenge settings or your phone settings. In-app challenge history and automatic-decline preferences stay with your account; account deletion removes these records and notification addresses.
Strike captures are temporary
A strike screenshot or supported video clip is prepared in memory. Choose Save to export it using your device, Share to open your device’s sharing options, or Discard to delete it. The app deletes its temporary copy after your choice. Captures are also cleared when the app goes into the background. Files you save or share outside the app remain wherever you chose to send them.
Network services
Signing in, online play and social features send the information needed for those features over encrypted connections. Hosting and authentication providers may process connection information, such as IP addresses, for security and service operation. The game’s bundled lane artwork, models and textures can load without a model-generation service.
Over-the-air updates download compatible app code and assets from the configured update service. A downloaded update takes effect on a later app launch.
Your choices
You can play practice without an account, sign out from Profile, delete your connected account from Profile, and decline to save a capture. Account deletion removes your identity, profile, messages and private progress. Completed scorecards may remain anonymously so other players retain their results. Deletion cannot remove exported files or offline saves on another device.
Backup retention and safety records
Protected server backups rotate after 14 days. Deleted account data may remain in those backups until they expire. Completed scorecards can remain without your identity, and de-identified safety reports can remain private for abuse prevention.
Payments and advertising
Android purchases use Google Play; iPhone and iPad purchases use Apple’s App Store. Our server verifies purchase receipts and subscription status to keep your coins and pass access in sync. Apple sandbox and store test transactions do not charge money.
Website coin purchases use Stripe Checkout. Stripe collects payment details directly; Bowling Rivals does not store full card numbers. We associate your player identifier with Stripe customer, checkout and invoice references to verify purchases, prevent duplicate credits, and process refunds or disputes. Purchase records can be retained for billing and fraud prevention after a game account is deleted; its player link is removed.
Optional rewarded videos use Google AdMob. On Android, Unity Ads can also supply videos through AdMob mediation. Google and Unity may process IP address (including approximate location), app or device identifiers, advertisements viewed, app interactions, crash reports and performance data for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. We delay ad measurement and initialization until the ad privacy check. Requests are non-personalized; teenagers receive under-age-of-consent treatment. On iOS we do not request access to the advertising identifier or permission to track across other companies’ apps and websites, and we disable Google’s publisher first-party identifier. You can review available privacy choices on the optional video screen. Watching ads is never required to play.
A live reward sends Google a random, single-use verification reference, not your phone number or player name. We retain that reference and Google’s transaction receipt with your account to prevent duplicate rewards and enforce the daily limit. Only server-verified live videos grant coins; test ads do not. Account deletion removes associated reward records.
Optional website video rewards
Website advertising is limited to optional rewarded videos. A video can show only after you choose Watch & earn. There are no display banners, automatic interstitials or forced ads. The website provider is Google AdSense H5 Games Ads; the installed phone apps use their separate AdMob and Unity setup. Completing a supported live video earns the stated in-game reward. Closing early or an unavailable video earns nothing.
Google may process cookies or browser storage, IP addresses, approximate location, browser identifiers and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized advertising can still use cookies. You can decline advertising and keep bowling normally. Website video rewards remain unavailable until the provider setup is complete.
